12月20日，廣湛高鐵佛山站項目建設取得重要進展，主站房和南站房外立面同時“亮相”。
佛山站位于佛山市禪城區，是廣湛高鐵全線“站城融合”程度最高的站房。總建筑規模達29.4萬平方米，站房面積5萬平方米，站場規模為4臺9線，最高聚集人數2500人，年旅客發送能力約600萬人次。
