導讀：2026年1月，英國首相斯塔默訪華，雙方在多項領域達成合作共識，覆蓋環境、社會、治理三大維度，被外界視為在ESG框架下深化中英合作的關鍵一步。時隔兩月，由寧波諾丁漢大學與上海英國商會聯合舉辦的ESG論壇在寧諾校園舉行，進一步延續中英乃至更廣泛國際社會在可持續領域的前沿對話。

3月26日下午，“寧波諾丁漢大學-上海英國商會ESG論壇：數字技術賦能供應鏈韌性與可持續發展”在寧諾校園內拉開帷幕。百余名來自政屆、產界和學界的嘉賓同臺對話，共同開啟了一場技術創新推動供應鏈可持續發展的深度探索。

現場，依托聯合國可持續發展教育（寧波）專業區域中心（RCE寧波）建設的“制造業企業ESG評價數字化平臺”正式啟動，面向企業免費開放。

該平臺以寧諾負責任商業與創新研究中心牽頭發布的全國首個《制造業企業環境、社會和治理（ESG）評價規范》團體標準為支撐，面向中小型制造企業、鏈主企業及其供應商，提供兼具國際接軌與本土落地的ESG能力評估、診斷、改進與認證等服務，為企業打通通往綠色金融、高端供應鏈與國際市場的路徑，助力產業鏈向低碳化、循環化與透明化轉型。

此舉正是學校十五五規劃中明確提出以RCE寧波建設為契機，推動可持續發展領域產學研協同創新并形成示范作用的關鍵舉措.

ENTERPRISE

沙哈菲茲（Shahafeez Shaharis）

開幕致辭上，馬來西亞駐上海總領事沙哈菲茲（Shahafeez Shaharis）先生分享了馬來西亞將ESG理念與國家可持續發展目標深度融合的實踐經驗，強調以政策設計、治理框架和可持續金融創新構建面向未來的綠色經濟體系。

論壇期間，上海交通大學朱慶華教授、中國管理科學學會可持續發展專委會副主任呂建中博士、福鵬綠科集團創始人蔡奕鴻先生分別圍繞供應鏈端ESG治理、AI賦能ESG價值創造、企業踐行ESG創新路徑等前沿議題發表主旨演講。

此外，寧諾還與福鵬綠科集團簽署了ESG合作項目戰略框架協議，通過協同學校科研人才優勢和企業實踐經驗，共同推進ESG相關的學術科研、人才培養及產業化合作。

近年來，寧諾充分整合國際資源，積極投身可持續發展等全球性議題——深度參與聯合國機構權威報告編寫、委派學者出任聯合國相關領域專家、發起青年項目等，持續貢獻寧諾智慧。

“在技術快速變革的今天，大學扮演著連接學術、產業與政策制定的重要角色。在寧諾，我們通過科研創新、人才培養及開展多方協作等形式回應全球挑戰，并通過搭建交流平臺促進知識共享、激發創新思路，將全球可持續發展理念轉化為切實可行的區域行動。”寧波諾丁漢大學執行校長喬納森·加里波第教授說。

據悉，依托于商務拓展部對外資源和校企合作統籌優勢，寧諾還將于6月深度參與上海英國商會 2026 年可持續發展與創新大獎峰會，專項支持峰會可持續供應鏈獎項相關評選工作，繼續深化本次論壇的前言對話，推動ESG理念的落地與實踐。

閱讀延伸：ESG是環境（Environmental）、社會（Social）和治理（Governance）的英文縮寫。與傳統財務指標不同，ESG用于衡量企業的長期可持續性和社會價值。踐行ESG理念能為企業降低經營風險、吸引負責任投資、提升品牌聲譽，更有利于國家在宏觀戰略層面推動產業升級，實現可持續發展。

Digital Innovation Drives ESG Forward: Leaders Convene at UNNC to Advance Sustainable Development

Government, business and academic leaders gathered at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) on 26 March for an ESG forum focused on how digital technologies can strengthen supply chain resilience and drive sustainable development. The event brought together over 100 participants for high-level dialogue and knowledge exchange.

The Digital Platform for ESG Evaluation of Manufacturing Enterprises, developed under the auspices of the Regional Centre of Expertise Ningbo on Education for Sustainable Development (RCE Ningbo), was officially launched and opened to enterprises free of charge.

Backed by China’s first national group standard "Evaluation specification for environmental, social and governance (ESG) of manufacturing enterprises" — led and issued by the Centre for Responsible Business and Innovation (CRBI) at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) — the platform serves small and medium-sized manufacturers, industrial chain leaders and their suppliers. It delivers internationally aligned, locally adaptable ESG services including capability assessment, diagnosis, improvement and certification, to help enterprises access green finance, high-end supply chains and global markets, and drive the industrial chain’s low-carbon, circular and transparent transformation.

This is a key initiative outlined in the University’s 15th Five-Year Plan, leveraging RCE Ningbo to advance industry-university-research collaborative innovation in sustainable development and deliver demonstrative results.

The forum also featured keynote speeches on ESG governance, AI-enabled value creation and corporate innovation, alongside the signing of a strategic ESG collaboration agreement between UNNC and G-COVE to advance research, talent development and industry collaboration.

UNNC reaffirmed its broader commitment to global sustainability through international partnerships, policy engagement and interdisciplinary innovation.

Professor Jonathan Garibaldi, Provost of UNNC, said:

“In a time of rapid technological transformation, universities play a vital role in connecting academia, industry and policymaking. At UNNC, we respond to global challenges through research innovation, talent development and multi-stakeholder collaboration. By building platforms for exchange, we promote knowledge sharing, stimulate new ideas, and translate global sustainability concepts into practical regional actions.”

UNNC will continue to build on this momentum, with plans to co-host the 2026 Sustainability and Innovation Awards Summit with the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai in June, further advancing dialogue and accelerating the practical implementation of ESG principles.
