中國隊第三金！寧忠巖：我翻過了那座“大山”

這 是本屆冬奧會上中 國體育代表團收獲的第三枚金牌，也是中國在速滑男子1500米比賽中贏得的首枚冬奧金牌。

美國名將喬丹·斯托爾茲和衛冕冠軍荷蘭人凱·努伊斯分獲第二、三名。

China's speed-skating star Ning Zhongyan backed up his world elite status at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics on Thursday by winning his career-first Olympic gold medal in the 1,500m with a new Games record time of one minute and 41.98 seconds, with pre-race favourite Jordan Stolz taking silver and Netherland's Kjeld Nuis claiming bronze.

確認自己獲勝后，寧忠巖淚灑賽場，他身披五星紅旗緩緩繞場滑行慶祝，觀眾紛紛起身為他歡呼、鼓掌。“這個成績對我來說非常、非常滿意。我的目標是打開（1分）43秒，但我真沒想到自己能滑進（1分）42秒。”他說。

寧忠巖說，速度滑冰1500米相當于田徑賽事中的400米或800米。“身為一個亞洲人，能在這個項目上贏歐美人，太難了。我不相信我能獲得金牌，因為喬丹真的太不可思議了，他在這四年里無人能擋，我始終把他當做一座跨不過去的山。但在奧運會1500米上，我把這座山成功翻過去了，山頂的風景太好了！”

寧忠巖說：“我從未停止過對自己的信任。我一直告訴自己要保持耐心，要不斷努力，相信所有的付出終有一天會得到回報。而今天就是這一天。即便現在，我仍覺得這一切有點不真實。”

After Ning's victory, he spoke to reporters about the self-belief he needed to call upon to win gold in the ever-improving world of men's speed skating.

"After the Beijing Winter Olympics, the level in speed skating just kept getting higher and higher," he said. "It felt like there was a mountain in front of me, and no matter what I did, I just could not get past it."

"But I never stopped believing in myself. I kept telling myself to stay patient, to keep putting in the work, to trust that all the effort would add up one day. Today was that day. Even now, it still feels a little unreal that I was able to do this." Ning said.

寧忠巖的荷蘭籍教練德威特在賽后說：“我們知道這場比賽會非常艱難。努伊斯起跑速度極快，他會想在兩次換道時搶占優勢，所以我叮囑寧一定要保持冷靜、穩住節奏，在第二圈時找準時間發力，并為最后一圈的沖刺做好準備。比賽的進程和我們預想的完全一樣，他完美執行了戰術。”

斯托爾茲在賽后擁抱寧忠巖，送上祝賀。“寧忠巖今天滑得太快了，我很高興他能拿到這塊金牌。他一直訓練得非常刻苦，一直都在努力站上領獎臺，他能贏得比賽真的太酷了。”

"Ning's time was a surprise; he had the race of his life," said Stolz. "If anybody was going to win, I thought Ning would be the one to do it. I was happy for him."

談及寧忠巖，中國代表團副團長佟立新評價道：“形象好，精神好，人品好，成績好，中國好青年！”
