羅馬諾表示，在米蘭和麥德林獨立達成協議后，烏迪內斯橫插一腳介入了胡安-阿里薩拉的交易，并最終取得了成功。
米蘭原本打算在簽下胡安-阿里薩拉之后將他租借到圖盧茲效力，而烏迪內斯則愿意直接為其提供一線隊位置，從而說服了這名球員。
