Under the canopy of poplars in Ljubljana’s Murgle neighborhood, this renovation weaves past and present into an ecological tapestry. Rooted in the post-war settlement’s Nordic-inspired ethos, the design honors the Ivan?eks’ original vision—timber structures, tree-centric planning, and human-scaled modesty—while meeting contemporary standards. Every detail, from the preserved volumetric logic to the low-tech environmental strategies, speaks to a reverence for continuity, turning a dilapidated house into a living legacy of sustainable living.

在盧布爾雅那穆格爾社區(qū)的白楊樹冠之下，這座翻新建筑將過(guò)去與現(xiàn)在編織成生態(tài)的錦緞。設(shè)計(jì)植根于這個(gè)戰(zhàn)后社區(qū)受北歐啟發(fā)的理念，既尊崇伊萬(wàn)塞克夫婦的原始愿景 —— 木材結(jié)構(gòu)、以樹木為核心的規(guī)劃和人性化尺度的簡(jiǎn)約 —— 又滿足了當(dāng)代標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。從保留的體量邏輯到低技術(shù)環(huán)保策略，每一處細(xì)節(jié)都彰顯著對(duì)傳承的敬畏，讓一棟破敗的房屋蛻變?yōu)榭沙掷m(xù)居住的鮮活遺產(chǎn)。

Dismantled and rebuilt with cross-laminated timber, the house retains the 1980s minimalism that defines Murgle’s identity. Its discreet presence blends seamlessly with the neighborhood, avoiding architectural grandeur to prioritize comfort. The airtight, thermally robust structure is a quiet rebellion against disposable design, proving that renewal need not erase memory—instead, it can strengthen the bonds between people and place through familiar proportions and subtle warmth.

房屋經(jīng)拆解后以交叉層壓木材重建，保留了定義穆格爾社區(qū)特質(zhì)的 1980 年代極簡(jiǎn)主義風(fēng)格。其低調(diào)的姿態(tài)與社區(qū)無(wú)縫融合，摒棄建筑上的浮夸，將舒適度置于首位。密閉且保溫性優(yōu)異的結(jié)構(gòu)，是對(duì)一次性設(shè)計(jì)的無(wú)聲反抗，印證了翻新不必抹去記憶 —— 相反，它能通過(guò)熟悉的比例和微妙的暖意，強(qiáng)化人與場(chǎng)所之間的聯(lián)結(jié)。

The western extension, a greenhouse-like pavilion of timber and glass, is a contemporary ode to Murgle’s principles. Anchored by two brick columns echoing the original fa?ade, it balances openness and privacy: vertical timber walls shield from the world, while transparent panels frame the park beyond. A mature birch tree, preserved through adaptive foundations, stands as a silent protagonist, embodying the settlement’s “design with trees” philosophy and infusing the space with natural rhythm.

西側(cè)的擴(kuò)建部分是一座木材與玻璃打造的溫室般展館，是對(duì)穆格爾社區(qū)理念的當(dāng)代致敬。兩根磚砌立柱呼應(yīng)著原始立面，成為空間的錨點(diǎn)，在開放與私密間取得平衡：垂直木墻隔絕外界紛擾，透明面板則框定了遠(yuǎn)處的公園景致。一棵通過(guò)適應(yīng)性地基得以保留的成熟樺樹，如沉默的主角般矗立，既體現(xiàn)了社區(qū) “與樹共生” 的設(shè)計(jì)哲學(xué)，又為空間注入了自然的韻律。

Inside, the space marries functionality with emotional resonance. Every corner feels intentional—whether as a cozy nook for contemplation or an open area for gathering—reflecting Murgle’s focus on human-scaled living. The warm tones of timber, paired with abundant natural light filtering through glass, create an atmosphere of calm intimacy. It’s a space that nurtures connection: to the neighborhood’s history, to the natural world outside, and to the quiet joys of everyday life.

室內(nèi)空間將功能性與情感共鳴融為一體。每個(gè)角落都經(jīng)過(guò)精心考量 —— 無(wú)論是供人沉思的舒適角落，還是用于聚會(huì)的開闊區(qū)域 —— 都體現(xiàn)了穆格爾社區(qū)對(duì)人性化尺度居住的專注。木材的溫暖色調(diào)，搭配透過(guò)玻璃涌入的充足自然光，營(yíng)造出寧?kù)o而親切的氛圍。這里是孕育聯(lián)結(jié)的空間：與社區(qū)的歷史聯(lián)結(jié)，與室外的自然世界聯(lián)結(jié)，也與日常生活中那些細(xì)微的喜悅聯(lián)結(jié)。

As a prototype for Murgle’s future, this project offers a blueprint for respectful renewal. It proves that ecological progress and architectural heritage can coexist, prioritizing simplicity and modesty over excess. By preserving the settlement’s social and ecological DNA, the House under the Poplars is more than a private home—it’s a testament to the enduring power of thoughtful design, where every choice honors the past, serves the present, and nurtures the future of a beloved neighborhood.
