本周我們學(xué)習(xí)和線上購(gòu)物相關(guān)的詞匯

1. dispatch /dis?p?t?/

v. 派發(fā);發(fā)出信息信件或包裹

e.g. The company dispatched the parcel via express delivery.

e.g. After receiving your order, we will dispatch it within 24 hours.

e.g. I was informed that the parcel was ready for collection but had not yet been dispatched.

n. 發(fā)送; 快件

e.g. The dispatch of goods takes two days.

2. parcel /'pɑ?s(?)l/

n. 包裹；郵包

e.g. The parcel was shipped today.

e.g. She wrapped the parcel carefully before mailing it.

e.g. I tracked the parcel online and saw it was out for delivery.

補(bǔ)充：track v. 跟蹤; 跟進(jìn)

syn: package包裹;發(fā)送的貨物

e.g. The package arrived this morning.

3. buck/b?k/

n. 責(zé)任、任務(wù)或麻煩事

搭配：pass the buck 推卸責(zé)任

the buck stops with someone應(yīng)由…承擔(dān)責(zé)任

e.g. When I contacted both the courier and the shop owner, they just kept passing the buck, refusing to take responsibility.

e.g. If the delivery is late or damaged, the buck stops with the courier company.

4. courier /'k?r??/

n. 快遞員;信使

e.g. The courier delivered the package this morning.

e.g. The courier handled fragile items with care.

syn: delivery people 快遞員

e.g. During the holiday season, delivery people are usually very busy.

5. signature /'s?gn?t??/

n. 簽名;署名;簽字

e.g. This package requires a signature.

e.g. The courier asked for my signature before handing over the parcel.

v. sign 簽名;簽署

搭配：sign for 簽收

e.g. She signed the letter before sending it.

e.g. I signed for the package when it was delivered.
