美國白宮新聞秘書萊維特8日在記者會上說，美國和伊朗將于當地時間11日上午在巴基斯坦首都伊斯蘭堡舉行首輪會談，美方團隊將由副總統萬斯、總統特朗普的特使威特科夫和女婿庫什納率領。
萊維特說，伊朗最初提出的10點建議不可接受、已被拋棄。伊朗隨后提出的一個“更合理、更簡明”的方案可作為美伊談判基礎。
