Nestled in Hóc M?n District, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, OR House is a compact townhouse built on a 5×16m plot, designed by Dat Tran Architect. Drawing inspiration from Bauhaus principles—functionality, clear form, and spatial efficiency—it adapts the iconic design philosophy to Vietnam’s dense urban context. The residence, with a ground floor plus one upper floor, balances practical living needs with a strong modern identity, proving that even limited spaces can embody timeless architectural values through thoughtful design.

坐落于越南胡志明市后江郡，OR House 是一座建于 5×16 米地塊上的緊湊型聯(lián)排別墅，由 Dat Tran Architect 操刀設(shè)計(jì)。項(xiàng)目借鑒包豪斯核心原則 —— 功能性、形式簡(jiǎn)潔性與空間高效性，將這一標(biāo)志性設(shè)計(jì)理念融入越南密集的城市環(huán)境中。這座地上兩層的住宅，在滿足實(shí)用居住需求的同時(shí)，兼具鮮明的現(xiàn)代特質(zhì)，證明通過(guò)精心設(shè)計(jì)，即便是有限空間也能承載永恒的建筑價(jià)值。

The architectural language of OR House is defined by simplicity and honesty. Rejecting excessive decoration, it relies on simple geometric volumes, clean lines, and balanced proportions to shape its aesthetic. Plastered concrete surfaces, glass, and metal elements form the minimal material palette, paired with neutral tones of white and grey that enhance spatial clarity. This restraint allows the house to stand out amid the bustling urban landscape with understated elegance, while reflecting the Bauhaus emphasis on "form following function."

OR House 的建筑語(yǔ)言以簡(jiǎn)約與本真為核心。它摒棄過(guò)度裝飾，憑借簡(jiǎn)潔的幾何體量、干凈的線條與均衡的比例塑造美感。抹灰混凝土表面、玻璃與金屬元素構(gòu)成極簡(jiǎn)材質(zhì)組合，搭配白色與灰色等中性色調(diào)，提升空間通透感。這種克制讓房屋在繁忙的城市景觀中以低調(diào)優(yōu)雅的姿態(tài)脫穎而出，同時(shí)彰顯包豪斯 “形式服從功能” 的核心主張。

A distinctive orange accent— inspired by the iPhone 17 Orange edition—adds a contemporary spark to the neutral palette. Applied selectively to highlight key elements, this vibrant hue creates a striking yet balanced contrast, avoiding visual monotony without disrupting the overall calm. It serves as a playful dialogue between architecture and modern technology, infusing the functional space with personality and warmth, and reflecting the residents’ connection to contemporary design and innovation.

一處獨(dú)特的橙色點(diǎn)綴 —— 靈感源自 iPhone 17 橙色版 —— 為中性色調(diào)注入當(dāng)代活力。它被選擇性地應(yīng)用于突出關(guān)鍵元素，這一鮮明色彩形成強(qiáng)烈卻均衡的對(duì)比，既避免了視覺(jué)單調(diào)，又不破壞整體的寧?kù)o氛圍。這一設(shè)計(jì)成為建筑與現(xiàn)代科技的趣味對(duì)話，為功能性空間賦予個(gè)性與溫度，也映射出居住者與當(dāng)代設(shè)計(jì)及創(chuàng)新的聯(lián)結(jié)。

Spatial efficiency is at the heart of the house’s layout. The ground floor features an open-plan living and kitchen area, complemented by one bedroom and one bathroom, ensuring flexible daily use and ample natural ventilation. The upper floor houses two bedrooms and a shared toilet, prioritizing privacy and smooth circulation. Every square meter is utilized thoughtfully, with no wasted space, embodying the Bauhaus pursuit of practicality while catering to the needs of a modern Vietnamese family.

空間高效性是房屋布局的核心。一層采用開(kāi)放式客廳與廚房設(shè)計(jì)，輔以一間臥室和一間浴室，滿足日常靈活使用需求，且自然通風(fēng)條件優(yōu)越。二層設(shè)有兩間臥室與一間共享衛(wèi)生間，注重私密性與流暢的動(dòng)線設(shè)計(jì)。每一寸空間都經(jīng)過(guò)精心利用，無(wú)一絲浪費(fèi)，既體現(xiàn)了包豪斯對(duì)實(shí)用性的追求，又貼合越南現(xiàn)代家庭的生活需求。

Natural light plays a pivotal role in shaping the interior atmosphere of OR House. The design maximizes light penetration through strategic window placements, bathing the neutral-toned spaces in soft brightness that enhances cleanliness and modernity. Sunlight dances on the concrete surfaces and glass elements, creating subtle shadows that add depth without cluttering the minimalist aesthetic. This interplay of light and space fosters a sense of calm and openness, turning the compact townhouse into a peaceful retreat amid the urban bustle.

自然光在塑造 OR House 室內(nèi)氛圍中扮演著關(guān)鍵角色。設(shè)計(jì)通過(guò)巧妙的窗戶布局最大化光線射入，讓柔和的光線灑滿中性色調(diào)的空間，凸顯潔凈感與現(xiàn)代氣息。陽(yáng)光在混凝土表面與玻璃元素上跳躍，形成微妙的陰影，既增添了空間深度，又不破壞極簡(jiǎn)美學(xué)。光線與空間的這種互動(dòng)營(yíng)造出寧?kù)o開(kāi)闊的感覺(jué)，讓這座緊湊型聯(lián)排別墅成為城市喧囂中的一處?kù)o謐休憩之所。
