20多年里，呂嘉先生在歐美及全球各地指揮了超過2000場歌劇和音樂會，合作過斯卡拉歌劇院、柏林德意志歌劇院、皇家阿姆斯特丹音樂廳管弦樂團、芝加哥交響樂團等世界級音樂機構，享譽歐洲、美國和澳大利亞。

現在是他作為音樂藝術總監執掌國家大劇院的第12個年頭，國家大劇院已然成為國際藝術平臺。

呂先生回到祖國不僅投身于自己熱愛的藝術事業，也不斷嘗試用藝術進行社會創新。

在啟明星，呂先生將分享自己的成長經歷和對音樂本身的理解，這是他創辦的全球華人音樂社區（GCMC）進校園的系列活動。他將聯動全球華人音樂社區持續為學校社區帶來“為公益而創造”。

本場音樂會不是一次簡單的宮崎駿動漫音樂演奏會，而是：

西區愛樂室內樂團

這是中國首支職業室內樂團。樂團成員都是經過嚴格的考核甄選出來的青年演奏家，全部畢業于國內外各大著名高等音樂學府, 其中有博士、碩士。訓練有素的演奏家們，各個技藝精湛，其中不乏國際比賽獲獎者，酷愛室內樂是他們的共同心聲。

這支年輕樂團演奏技藝精湛，演奏風格嚴謹又不失激情，被業內盛贊為"古典新勢力"！樂團曾應邀出訪美國、歐洲、亞洲等多個國家和地區，還應邀為歐洲多部，文藝片和先鋒話劇錄制背景音樂，獲得國際贊譽，2014年西區愛樂室內樂團與郎朗攜手為姜文新片《一步之遙》錄制電影音樂，大獲成功。2015年樂團為周星馳電影《美人魚》、2018年為《邪不壓正》錄制音樂，好評如潮。

Over the course of more than 20 years, Mr. Lü has conducted more than 2,000 opera and concert performances across Europe, the United States, and Australia, working with world-class institutions such as La Scala Opera House, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He has earned renown in Europe, the US, and Australia.

Now in his twelfth year as the Music Director at the National Center for the Performing Arts, the National Center has grown into a prestigious international arts platform.

Mr. Lü has not only dedicated himself to his beloved art but also continually seeks to use the arts for social innovation.

On March 8, he will visit Daystar Academy to share his understanding of music, as well as how should education focusing on knowledge and music education be linked...

This event is part of the series of Global Chinese Music Community (GCMC) activities, which aims to bring "art for public good" to school communities.

As a world-class artist, this is also Mr. Lü's first time sharing his insights in a K-12 school. You do not want to miss it!

West End Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra

China's first professional chamber orchestra,composed of young musicians selected through rigorous audition processes. All members are graduates of prestigious Chinese or foreign music academies, with many holding advanced degrees, including PhDs and master's degrees. They are exquisitely skilled performers who all share a deep passion for chamber music. Many of the members are winners of international competitions.

This young orchestra is known for their precise yet passionate performances, and is often praised as a "new force in classical music". The orchestra has toured the US, Europe, and Asia and recorded music for several European art films and avant-garde plays. Their 2014 collaboration with Lang Lang for the filmGone with the Bulletswas a great success, as was their 2015 contribution to Stephen Chow'sThe Mermaidand their work in 2018 on the filmHidden Man.
