An AI-generated image has been stripped of first prize in a photography contest organized by a high-end hotel brand after netizens identified clear signs of artificial intelligence manipulation, reigniting debate over AI's role in creative competitions.

近日，有網友發帖稱，華住高端酒店品牌舉辦的攝影大賽，獲得第一名的作品，拉曝光再放大看竟然是一張AI圖！該攝影大賽還請了5位專業評委給作品打分，評委中還不乏一些協會副會長等大咖。

Online posts alleged that the winning entry in a photography contest held by H World Group was not a genuine photograph but an AI-generated image.

第42號作品《騎樓舊光》

根據該網友所說，記者找到該比賽第42號作品《騎樓舊光》原圖，將亮度調大并將曝光調到過量曝光，明顯看到圖片右側的數個牌匾出現字體錯亂和字體生成不全。

該網友稱，這是Al生成圖片的常見錯誤，一眼就可辨別圖片是AI生成的。還有其他例如老人提鳥籠的手指跟手掌連不起來、左側連續兩個涼茶鋪牌匾之類的露餡細節。

The disputed work, Entry No 42, was initially awarded first place in the contest, which was judged by five professionals from national and municipal photography and fine arts associations.

According to a netizen who examined the image, adjusting brightness and exposure revealed typical AI flaws, including distorted characters on shop signs, unnatural finger details, and duplicated storefronts.

調高曝光后的《騎樓時光》

另據帖子信息，記者搜索到這項名為“藝術MaxX·城市記憶攝影大賽”的比賽，在華住會旗下上海東方美侖美奐酒店和華住美好家族官方公眾號均有宣傳。

此前第一名結果公示

記者查看獲獎公示信息發現，該作品位于綜合獎項第一名，第二名為作品《陸家嘴》，攝影比賽評委由“中國攝影家協會會員”“上海市美術家協會會員”等專業評委共5人組成。

據了解，該賽事公示日期為1月6日至1月10日23時59分，公示文件現已被刪除。1月10日，上海外灘東方美侖美奐等多家酒店公眾號公布了最終比賽結果，稱比賽公示期已結束。

值得注意的是，最終獲獎名單中，此前公示文件中的第二名已變更為第一名。

The work was listed as first place during the public notice period from Tuesday to Saturday, which has since been removed. When the final results were released on Saturday, the former second-place entry was promoted to first place.

11日下午，封面新聞記者致電華住會客服，了解取消原因及后續處理情況。客服回應稱：“經過內部多方核查，作品不符合原創性規則，經和投稿人溝通后取消了成績。最終結果以公示為準。”

A H World customer service representative told reporters on Sunday that the award was revoked after internal reviews found the work violated originality requirements, adding that the decision followed communication with the submitter.

去年底，福建省旅游發展集團主辦的攝影大賽一等獎作品《湖秋霧影》被網友質疑為AI生成，同樣引發熱議。

有AIGC專業人士分析，該圖片中樹葉的紋理和顏色過渡均勻，未能體現出真實照片中因光照、視角等因素導致的細微差異，整體細節呈現出一種“過度平滑”的質感。這些特征表明，此圖片極有可能是由AI生成的。

A similar controversy emerged late last year when a first-prize entry in a Fujian Tourism Development Group photography contest, was also suspected of being AI-generated. Experts note that such images often exhibit overly smooth textures and uniform color transitions, unlike real photographs.

北京市隆安律師事務所高級合伙人李長青曾表示，賽事規則明確禁止AI作品參賽，參賽者報名即視為同意該條款，其提交AI生成作品的行為構成違約。主辦方有權取消其一等獎資格；若賽事規則中已明確規定承擔相應賠償責任，主辦方還可向參賽者追償。

Legal expert Li Changqing warn that submitting AI-generated works to contests that explicitly prohibit them may constitute a breach of contract, allowing organizers to revoke awards and seek compensation if stipulated in the rules.

有媒體評論稱，沒有規矩不成方圓。對于AI技術的運用，相關行業或者各類比賽應及時建立規則，明確“AI輔助”與“AI生成”的界定標準與適用界限，與此同時，創作者也應對AI使用情況進行說明，明確的邊界以及清晰透明的規則，才是避免爭議的關鍵。

Commentators say the incident highlights the need for clearer standards distinguishing AI-assisted from AI-generated works, as well as greater transparency and disclosure requirements, to prevent similar disputes in the future.
