對于美方在古巴問題上的言論，毛寧表示，中方堅定支持古巴維護國家主權和安全，反對外來干涉，再次敦促美方立即停止對古巴的封鎖制裁和任何形式的脅迫，多做有利于地區和平穩定的事情。
